Summer Championship Round 5 results - Friday 13 August 2010
No Micros were running this week but we did have a couple of Mini's so we had to have a mixed heat with the Mini's racing some of the Touring Cars which was great to watch. On the tight and twisty track it was amazing to watch the Mini's nip in between the bigger cars. The club will be running the Mardave Mini's in the next Championship so we expect to see more of them racing very soon.
Good to see a new face at the club, Adam Burgess made a guest appearance while his local club were not racing and despite some mechanical problems, certainly enjoyed his evenings racing. Shame that a crash in the A final put him out of contention. There were quite a few crashes with other drivers losing out, but now we are getting close to the end of the championship things are hotting up!
