Beds Radio Controlled Model Car Club (Bedsrcmcc) based in Bedfordshire, UK

Welcome to the Bedfordshire Radio Controlled Model Car Club (Bedsrcmcc). The club has been setup in Bedfordshire to cater for fellow radio controlled model car enthusiasts who would like to enjoy racing in a friendly and competitive atmosphere. The club races indoors at the Bromham Village Hall on Monday and Friday evenings, see race schedule for full calendar of races in 2011. The track surface is carpet and the actual layout changes from week to week. Doors open at 7.00pm and we normally finish by 10.30pm, though on busy nights (normally Friday's) we do run until 11.00pm.

With the introduction of Monday evening meetings, the club is now expanding the classes of cars we race. Friday's will remain 1:10th Scale Touring Cars and 1:12th Scale Mardave Cars, while on Monday's we shall be running 1:10th Scale Formula 1 Cars & Tamiya Mini's, along with Touring Cars and Mardave's. Take a look around the site and if you like what you see and are keen to start racing with us, then please submit your details via the membership information page and we will be in contact. Alternatively why not come along to one of our Monday or Friday race meetings and watch the action and talk to our members.

We look forward to welcoming you all on a Monday or Friday to our indoor race meetings held at the Village Hall in Bromham, Bedfordshire where we race on a carpet track. Whether you are new to the hobby of model car racing, or an experienced RC model car racer who's been looking for somewhere in the Bedfordshire area to go racing again, this will be the club for you.

Start pre-booking for Round 3 now!

Pre-book for Round 3. Our next meeting is on Friday 10 February and at this rate the numbers could well be higher than Round 2 which saw a record number of cars on track - 44 cars to be precise!

DUH! Not again... another record number!

We've broken another record for Monday night racing with 22 cars lined up for the start of the evening. This has to stop at some point right? Great for the club as more new faces join us.

Championship points after Round 2

Time to check the Championship Points after another fun filled round with 44 cars on track! Graham Oliver leads the BRCA Class in Mardave's, with Mark Wilkins leading the Club Class.

Night Race Meeting

The club will be running a night race on Friday 23 March which is the Friday after the last round of the Winter Championships. Normal race format, 3 heats and a final, but in total darkness! We shall be publishing more details very soon with advice on how to setup lights on your cars. We tried it out at our Christmas party meeting last month and it was so successful that we are now running a full meeting in the dark. Watch this space for more news shortly...
