RC Resources : National and International Radio Control Organisations
Want to learn more about our hobby? One of the best ways is to get in contact with one of the many organisations around the world that can offer information about the hobby of RC model cars. So to help you, we have listed the main organisations in one place for you here at bedsrcmcc. The majority of clubs will be a member of one or more of these organisations, both for insurance purposes and also as they set out the rules and regulations to help make racing fairer for everyone, whether you are a club racer or an International works driver.
RC Organisations

British Radio Car Association
The BRCA exist to promote the construction and racing of radio controlled cars, to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas relating to the sport, to set the rules and standards for construction and racing and to encourage National and International competition.

European Federation of Radio Operated Model Automobiles
The objectives of the Federation are the promotion of international Friendship and Co-operation, particularly (but not exclusively) on the continent of Europe, through and for the construction, competition and sport of radio-operated model automobiles. The establishment of uniform International rules and regulations for such construction and operation.

International Federation of Model Auto Racing
The objectives of IFMAR are to promote International friendship and co-operation throughout the world through and for the constructions and operation of Radio Controlled Automobiles. To establish uniform International Rules and Regulations for the construction and operation of Radio Controlled Automobiles. To co-ordinate International races and competitions for all classes of Radio Controlled Automobiles. To maintain the IFMAR World Championships as the only recognised World Championships for Radio Controlled Automobiles.

Remotely Operated Auto Racers
ROAR is the official US/Canadian sanctioning body for racing RC cars. ROAR is responsible for producing and maintaining rules that are fair for all parties involved members and manufacturers alike. As an official IFMAR bloc, ROAR is also responsible for organizing race teams that represent the US and Canada to compete at IFMAR World Championships for all scales of RC cars.

Scottish Radio Car Association
The objectives of the SRCA are to promote the construction and racing of radio controlled cars. To facilitate the exchange of information and ideas related to the sport. To follow rules and standards for construction and racing as detailed by the British Radio Car Association (BRCA) with local amendments. To encourage Regional, National and International competition within a co-ordinated calendar.

Welsh Radio Car Association

To follow rules and standards for construction and racing as detailed by the British Radio Car Association (BRCA) with local amendments.
